Studio Policies
- Lessons are available on Saturdays between 9am and 6pm on a first-come, first-serve basis
- Lessons may be available on other days of the week, but must be carefully coordinated with the instructor's other professional and academic obligations
- Lessons booked in the upcoming 21 days are guaranteed appointments; the schedule is always "locked" 3 weeks in advance
- If the instructor must cancel or reschedule a guaranteed appointment, a make-up lesson will be scheduled at the student's convenience, and at no additional expense to the student
- If the student must cancel or reschedule a guaranteed appointment, a make-up lesson will be scheduled at the instructor's discretion. The studio reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee, up to and including 100% of the lesson fee
- If the student must cancel or reschedule a guaranteed appointment but fails to do so within 48 hours in advance of the lesson, the lesson will be forfeited and the student will be charged
- Changes to any lessons more than 3 weeks into the future will be accommodated whenever possible and always made without penalty to either the student or the instructor
- The 2008 Rate Schedule and lesson attendance policies [this page] are subject to change. Tuition is not refundable.
- Students are financially responsible for all commercially produced literature provided to them in the course of their lessons; All sheet music or other printed material will be billed on the next invoice; The rate charged for the material will be the published rate, usually printed on the outside cover of the material
- The studio will provide independently produced literature [labeled Part of the Music] at no additional charge; Students agree to not make copies or otherwise distribute this literature
